About the event
Menopause is a natural aging process that nothing can change, including yoga, but what yoga can do is to give us some tools to help and embrace our journey.
It can happen just at that point in our lives when we are incredibly busy juggling everyday life, children, work and ageing parents, etc and then managing our hormones and our changing bodies.
It is time to stop, pause, rest and reflect and be kind to ourselves.
The morning will focus on ways in which we can use our yoga practice, meditation and breath work to help with some of the symptoms of menopause - anxiety, rage, hot flushes, fatigue etc and ways in which to befriend ourselves and our emotions, and live our best lives.
We will begin with a sharing circle/interactive discussion (interaction and sharing is optional).
Following on with an exploration of various breathing techniques and a physical practice, bringing the morning to a close with some restorative/relaxation and meditation time.
There will be time at the end of the morning for reflection and refreshments.
The cost is £16 - prepayment only (places are limited)
